This video demonstrates how to clean the engine breather on a first generation Fiat Ducato 2.5 d. This component should be cleaned periodically, as a blockage can cause oil to leak when starting the engine. First, loosen the hose clamp to remove it, then unscrew the component from its seat, which should come off easily. Pour the used oil into a container for disposal at an authorised centre. Clean everything with some petrol (remember to wear gloves for this operation) and then scrub it mechanically with a brush. Once clean, refit it in the same way it was removed.
