How to Remove the Door of a Classic Fiat 500

To remove the door from the car structure, you need to unscrew the four bolts on the hinge, and then the hinge itself, located in the middle of the door. In the example we see, the cover over the hinge hole is missing, which consists of a Teflon washer that slides within the bent metal in a "U" shape to allow the door to open and close, secured by a screw. The cap would mask access to this screw. As it is a spring, you must remove it from its housing. Consequently, after unscrewing the four bolts, the door will come off easily. It's really very simple.
