Fiat 500 - Video tutorial

Model: Fiat 500 - Years 2007-2022
Part: Headlight bulb
Operation: How to replace the low beam H7 bulb in a Fiat 500

In this video tutorial, we can see how it is possible to replace the low beam H7 bulb in a Fiat 500 by following some simple steps. The necessary materials are: a pair of disposable gloves, a portable LED or regular halogen lamp to illuminate the area where we need to work. Lift the engine hood and secure it with a proper rod. The right headlight, on the passenger side, is simpler than the left one because there is no washer fluid reservoir and fuses. There are two rubber caps: one for the parking light bulb and the larger cap for the low beam headlight bulb. Pull the tab of the rubber cap to remove the cover, push the tab underneath upwards to release the bulb. Pull out the old bulb flatly and replace it with the new one. Insert the bulb into its housing until you hear a click. Reassemble all the parts by reversing the steps.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
