How to Remove the Steering Wheel of the Fiat Stilo

Removing the steering wheel on this car model is quite easy as the airbag is secured with torx screws rather than the typical spring clip system; just behind the spokes of the steering wheel, there are holes through which you can insert a 30 torx key and unscrew the airbag securing screws; then pull it away enough to disconnect the relevant connectors by first removing the locks; once the airbag is removed, position the steering wheel at the centre with the wheels straight, remove the rubber protection cap from the securing nut and unscrew it to then pull off the steering wheel.
