In this video, learn how to lift and change the tyres on a Fiat 500X: first, ensure you are parked on a solid, flat surface, away from traffic, avoiding icy and slippery areas. Also, make sure the hazard lights are on, the ignition is off, the handbrake is engaged, and no one is inside the vehicle. If available, the jack, tools for changing the tyre, and the spare wheel are located in the boot; remove the securing device holding the spare wheel in place. It is a good idea to block the wheel diagonally opposite to the one you are changing. Start by removing the centre cap covering the main wheel bolt, then loosen the bolts without removing them while the wheel is still on the ground. The front and rear lifting positions are indicated by triangular sections on the vehicle, and that is where you should place the jack, lifting the vehicle slightly off the ground. Remove the wheel and fit the spare, tightening the bolts slightly. Lower the vehicle and remove the jack. When the vehicle is on the ground, tighten the bolts.
