How to Replace the Engine Air Filter on a Fiat Idea

Model: Fiat Idea MK 1 - Years 2003-2016
Part: Air filter

For the most common engine variant of this car model, the 1.3 MultiJet, the engine air filter is integrated into the plastic cover on the engine itself, located at the rear. Once you open the front bonnet, locate the filter housing and unscrew the three fixing screws of the cover using a 7 mm socket. After removing the cover, take out the filter, clean any dirt residue, and insert the new one, ensuring the gasket aligns perfectly with the edges before refitting the cover.
