How to Change Engine Oil and Oil Filter

Model: Fiat Punto 176, MK 1 - Years 1993-1999

Lift the front of the car with a jack. Remove the front right wheel. Open the bonnet. Place a container under the engine, aligned with the oil drain hole. Unscrew the bolt and let the engine oil drain into the container. Refit the bolt for the oil drain. Locate the oil filter (which in this case is located at the bottom in front of the part of the engine from which we drained the oil) and unscrew it with an appropriate spanner. Replace the filter with a new one and pour the new oil into the designated filler neck at the top of the engine bay. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a Fiat Punto.
