Too much oil in the Fiat Ducato could be a problem.

Model: Fiat Ducato X290 - Years 2014-2024
Part: Engine oil

In this video, we can learn from the experience of the YouTuber who tells us how he mistakenly put too much oil in his Fiat Ducato, risking causing serious damage to the engine. In fact, driving with too much oil is more harmful to the engine than driving with too little oil, and this is even more true for newly designed vehicles like the Ducato X290 in the video. The problem with this model is that there is no longer an oil dipstick to measure the oil level, and the computer, which should provide the indications, only notified the user that there was too much oil in the engine after two days of driving! And there was almost one and a half liters of extra oil in the engine! So, let's be careful when changing the oil: let's stick to the quantities indicated in the user manual, and maybe add half a liter less, because it's much better to add it later than having to drain the oil pan and waste everything.
