We must ensure that water is channeled properly, especially in very humid areas.

The protection under the windshield is not sufficient to protect the engine in areas with heavy rainfall. The YouTuber recommends spraying WD-40 generously on every part of the engine compartment at the beginning of each winter season; this acts as a water repellent and a good rust inhibitor.

Check if the base of the windshield is properly sealed; in this specific case, there was a lot of play and it was evident that water was leaking. Therefore, a good silicone gel is needed to seal it properly; the difference after the first inspection is truly remarkable.
