Operation: How to replace the gear shift bowden cable on the Fiat Grande Punto

In this video, we see how to replace the broken gear shift cable on a Grande Punto. The cable that breaks is the Bowden cable, a device that contains a metal cable with mechanical linkages inside. To remove it, we need to go under the car, where we find a pressure partition that supports the linkage; we remove it and locate the broken cable, then try to remove it by eliminating all the fasteners. Finally, we have our cable in hand and can see that it has been completely severed; it must be replaced. Now we put the cable back into the housing and reposition it, greasing it well and connecting it on the other side.
