How do you replace the gear shift cable of the Fiat Punto Evo?

In order to replace the gear cable of the Fiat Punto Evo, you need to remove the gear knob and also the covering around the lever: this way you will be able to access its underlying components. Here you will be able to locate the end of the gear cable, which must be detached from the lever by loosening the bolt; the other end of the cable will be accessible from the bottom of the vehicle and once loosened it will be possible to remove the cable. The new one can now be inserted, making sure that everything works correctly.
