How to Replace the Wishbone on a Fiat Punto

If you hear a noise coming from the front wheel during acceleration, especially when braking, like a thumping sound, it is likely that the bushes of the suspension wishbones are damaged. To replace them, lift the vehicle on a ramp, remove the front wheel, and take out the fixing pins of the stabiliser bar bracket attached to the wishbone. Remove the fixing pins of the wishbone ball joint to the hub support, extract the ball joint, and remove the fixing pins of the two bushes of the wishbone to complete the disassembly. Follow the reverse order for the installation of the new one.
