To replace the gear shift boot of the Fiat Tipo, we first detach the button of the boot, then unhook the plastic and lift the old boot; once the old boot is removed, we can detach the frame from the boot using a plastic tool to release the clips; then we can take the new boot, insert the inserts into the holes of the stitching, reposition the frame until it clicks into place; detach the button if it is attached, insert the new boot onto the lever and close the button in the center of the rod where the old one was attached before disassembly.
