How do you change the oil filter on a Fiat? Follow these steps. Lift the car on a column lift to your preferred height, then unscrew the square or hex bolt under the oil sump and drain all the oil into a container.

Using a strap wrench or a socket spanner with a chain, unscrew the oil filter and replace it with a new one. Tighten the bolt on the oil sump and top up the fluid in the engine. Check the oil level several times with the dipstick.

Always adhere to the indicator marked on the dipstick.
