How to replace the gear knob of a Ford Mondeo?

To replace the gear knob of a Ford Mondeo, start by parking the vehicle on a flat surface and making sure the handbrake is engaged. Put the gear in neutral to make the operation easier. Firmly grip the existing knob and start unscrewing it counterclockwise. It may require some force, so make sure you have a secure grip. Continue turning until the knob completely detaches from the gear lever. Once the old knob is removed, take the new one and screw it onto the gear lever clockwise. Make sure it is securely tightened, but avoid over-tightening to avoid damaging the threading. Check that the knob is stable and does not move while changing gears. If the new knob includes an adapter or a fixing screw, follow the provided instructions to ensure a safe installation.
