Firmly grip the existing knob and begin unscrewing it counterclockwise. It may require some force, so ensure you have a secure grip.

Continue turning until the knob completely detaches from the gear stick. Once the old knob is removed, take the new one and screw it onto the gear stick clockwise.

Ensure it is tightly secured, but avoid over-tightening to prevent damaging the threads. Check that the knob is stable and does not move while changing gears.
