This tutorial explains how to replace the battery in a 2016 Ford Fiesta Ecoboost. The recommended battery is a LION EFB 100, 65 Ah EN 650 CCA. First, unlock the bonnet, lift it, and secure it in place with the prop rod. Once the bonnet is open, you will have access to the engine bay and the battery; to remove it, first take off the securing bar located above the battery using a socket spanner to undo the relevant nuts.

At this point, disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal; then proceed to extract the battery and insert the new one in its place, ensuring you connect the positive terminal first and the negative terminal last. Finally, reattach the securing bar above the battery.
