In order to adjust the handbrake of the Ford Fiesta, you need to completely remove the cover of the center tunnel. Once the cover is removed, you will be able to locate the underlying components, in particular a nut located just behind the lever. This nut should be tightened or loosened depending on how you want to adjust the handbrake: tightening the nut will reduce the handbrake travel, making it harder, while loosening the nut will make the lever softer and increase the travel.
