How to reset the car radio on a Ford Fiesta

Here are some methods you could try: - Reset via buttons: turn on the car and make sure the radio is on. Press and hold the power button and the forward track button simultaneously for about 10 seconds. This should restart the radio and unlock any blocks. - Master reset via secret menu: put the key in the "accessory" position (without starting the engine). Press and hold the "OK" button on the dashboard. Turn the key to the "on" position. The word "test" will appear and you can select the option to restore the radio's factory settings. - Disassembly and replacement of the radio: if the reset via buttons does not work, you may need to disassemble the radio. Remove the bezel (the decorative part around the radio) and disconnect the cable. Then, remove the radio box with a T25 key and disconnect the three cables. Buy a new radio and connect the cables and antenna. Test the new radio and reassemble everything. - Reset via battery disconnection: disconnect the negative battery cable for 15-30 minutes. This will allow the radio system to completely discharge and reset.
