How to replace the battery of the 2014 Ford Focus

Replacing the battery of the Ford Focus on your own is a simple and quick operation to perform. To replace the battery, we need to use a flat-head screwdriver and a key with a 10 mm insert. We open the front hood of the car and remove the plastic cover of the battery. Using the key with a 10 mm insert, we unscrew the four bolts on the battery to release the negative terminal and the positive terminal. Using the flat-head screwdriver, we disconnect the negative terminal from the battery. We disconnect the positive terminal from the battery and push the side clips to remove the side block of the battery. Applying slight pressure and force outward, we remove the entire battery block. We insert the new battery into the slot and connect the positive terminal. We lock the sides of the battery and connect the negative terminal. After screwing in the four bolts, we mount the cover.
