Replacing the battery on a Ford Focus? Let's look at removing the old battery located in the engine bay. Open and lift the front bonnet by releasing the locking lever with your fingers, then secure it. Once the engine bay is open, you will find the battery under the plastic cover. Unscrew the securing screws above the battery terminals after moving the plastic cover, then remove it from the engine bay. After obtaining the new battery, install it in the engine bay (same voltage). Test the operation of the Ford Focus and all electrical components.
