How to program a key with Lonsdor k518 on a Ford KA 2012
To program a key with Lonsdor K518, you need to arm yourself with a lot of patience and the right tools, don't be scared and follow these steps. Connect it to the car's OBD port and turn on the ignition, go to Ford in the menu, select the model and year then enter the Immo System function. Now you need the PIN code, you can extract it with the same K518 or if you can't find it you can use another tool like VVDI. After obtaining the PIN, proceed to pre-code; if the key is new, it must be prepared with the correct chip, usually ID49. Then go to Add key, follow the instructions and when prompted, insert the new key into the ignition. After programming, turn everything off, try to start the car and verify that it works. If necessary, also synchronize the remote control. I realize that these are complex procedures to do in DIY mode, but surely the most experienced will know how to handle them. If you don't feel confident, contact a specialized workshop.
