To replace the remote battery of the Ford Ka, first lift the key by pressing the designated button located at the top of the device. This will allow you to pry open the slot at the top of its housing. Doing so will enable you to slide out the compartment inside the device, which contains the battery. Remove the battery from its seat and replace it with a new one; after the replacement, reassemble the remote and check that it functions.
