Door Handle Replacement

This video explains how to replace the door handle of a Ford Ka. The video starts with the trim panel already removed and the window electrical connections already disconnected. The broken handle has also been removed, but the video explains which screws need to be removed to take it out. In this case, the handle needs to be replaced because the ring that connects to the opening cable hook has broken. Once the new handle is inserted and the cable is attached, reassemble everything in reverse order. Refit the screws on the side of the door (those for the lock assembly). Use glue to reattach the rubber seals and the internal trim; also use adhesive tape for the edges of the trim. Finally, attach the plastic screws that hold the internal door panel.
