How to set the timing of the engine of a Ford Transit 2.2 or 2.4 TDCi

In this video we see how to set the static timing of the timing chain of a Ford Duratorq 2.2 or 2.4 TDCi engine. We are shown an image of the owner's manual with the various torque settings, and where the connection should be when installing a new chain. It is necessary to use a very long screwdriver to be able to rotate the engine shaft. The youtuber shows us through a small mirror, the locking tool or a 10 mm allen key, in order to lock the engine shaft. This is located at the rear of the engine, through the engine shaft position sensor, removing which we will access the flywheel and from there we can lock it. As a second reference, we will have made a mark on the engine shaft that must correspond to 12 o'clock. Then there are the various locks on the camshafts, always positioned according to the initial drawing.
