The sudden inability to change gears in the Ford Escape, unless it is a gear breakage or other type of damage to be treated in the workshop, could be solved by means of an electronic reset. The protagonist of the video shows how moving the lever of the aforementioned automatic transmission does not do anything, which is why a reset was chosen, carried out through a specific software installed on the PC, which is then connected to the OBD socket and consequently to the ECU. After selecting the car model, the module to be reset is searched for and the operation is authorized.
