How to replace the shift lever knob in the Ford Mustang?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the gear shift boot in the Ford Mustang, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, go inside the car, then separate the boot from the knob by pulling it down, grab the knob itself, unscrew it forcefully and remove it from the shaft. Then release the base of the boot from the central console by levering with a preferably plastic spatula, so as not to leave marks, remove the old boot, position the replacement and reassemble everything following exactly the reverse procedure.
