Adjust the handbrake on a Ford Fiesta. Use a screwdriver to remove the cover under the armrest (if present), then disconnect the power connector. Next, use a socket spanner to unscrew the plastic armrest. Once removed, unscrew the securing nuts of the centre tunnel located under the handbrake lever using a socket spanner or screwdriver with a bit. Once the handbrake lever is free, adjust it by loosening or tightening the pins. Finally, refit the cover and all associated parts in reverse order.
