Replacing the battery inside the key of your third-generation Ford Focus is a very simple operation that you can complete in just a few minutes by following the steps described below. First, purchase a new CR2032 battery and make sure you have a flathead screwdriver on hand.

At this point, take the car key and the screwdriver and use the latter to easily remove the key cover. Next, replace the exhausted battery with the new one and then reassemble the key cover correctly.
