How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost MK3?

Let’s see how to reset the Service light on a Ford Focus 1.0 Ecoboost MK3. Get in the car and close all the doors, simultaneously press the brake and accelerator pedals; keep them pressed while turning the key to position "II" (ignition on, without starting the engine). If you have a start button, press it once without your foot on the brake to turn on the ignition. Continue holding both pedals: after about 20 seconds, the message "oil service reset in progress" should appear on the dashboard display. Do not release until you see "reset service completed". This takes about 45 seconds in total. At this point, release the pedals and turn off the ignition.
