How to Activate and Deactivate the Alarm on a Ford Mondeo MK4

In this video, we will see how to deactivate the anti-theft protection on a Ford Mondeo MK4: turn on the radio display, go to Menu/factory settings and select "anti-theft protection", where you can view the vehicle's VIN number consisting of 17 alphanumeric digits. To deactivate the protection, you need to enter the device's PIN. The PIN can be found in the vehicle's user and maintenance manual, provided by the dealer at the time of vehicle pickup; it is often indicated on a tag or separate label within the manual. It may also be a sticker attached inside the glove compartment. Without the PIN, you cannot deactivate the protection. To reactivate the system, simply return to the menu and select "activate". The PIN is not required to reactivate the function.
