In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the alternator in a Ford F-150 pickup, a very simple and quick operation. First, make sure the engine is completely cool, then open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

Next, remove the intake duct, grab the tensioner with a 13mm socket wrench, loosen the tension, and remove the belt. At this point, just remove both the tensioner and the alternator, disconnect the power terminals, position the replacement, and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
