Let's see how to unlock a Ford radio code on a Transit MK7: first, you need the serial number. Press buttons 1 and 6 (or 2 and 6 on 4500 RDS models) with the radio on. The display will scroll information including a code that starts with "v" or "M" followed by 6 digits.

Enter the serial number on a free code generator website dedicated to Ford, then with the radio displaying "code" or 4 dashes, use buttons 1, 2, 3, and 4 to enter the 4 digits. Confirm with button 5.
