How to Change the Wiper Blades on the Ford Focus

On the Ford Focus, replacing the wiper blades seems trivial, but it is advisable to do it carefully to avoid dropping the arm onto the glass. Lift the wiper arm and position the blade comfortably to work on the central attachment point. At this point, locate the locking mechanism of the attachment: the video shows it being pressed/unlocked, allowing the blade to slide out of the arm following the direction of the fitting, without pulling sharply. Once the old blade is removed, take the new blade and repeat the operation in reverse: align the attachment, slide it until it clicks into place, and check that the lock has returned to position, indicating it is securely attached. After finishing one side, move to the other blade and perform the same procedure. Finally, lower the arms onto the windscreen and do a quick check: blades firmly in place, no play in the attachment, and arms resting correctly.
