How to remove the mirror glass of a Ford Focus? Use a lever to pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the glass. Pry until the plastics detach from the mirror (disconnect the power cable); this is a delicate operation as the glass or the mirror cap may break.

Unscrew the screws with a screwdriver to detach the mirror cap, and replace the damaged part with a new one. Ensure the plastic clips snap into the mirror supports.
