Installing AUX IN Adapter for iPod

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

You can purchase an aftermarket converter to connect to the original car radio that provides an AUX output for iPod, iPhone, or iPad. The installation is very simple, but you will need the appropriate keys to release the original car radio. Insert the keys into the designated holes on the sides of the radio, press until the retaining springs are released, and pull out the radio. Then position the converter directly under the radio, securing it with double-sided tape, and make the electrical connections as per the attached diagram. Finally, run the cable with the jack to the back and route the jack out from under the centre console. Reattach the car radio.
