Video tutorial
To replace the battery on a Ford Mustang, lift the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay, usually situated on the right side and protected by a cover that must be removed to access the connections. Ensure the car is completely off and begin by disconnecting the negative cable, followed by the positive. Next, loosen and remove the fastening system that holds the battery in place. Carefully extract the battery, given its weight, and insert the new one into the same housing. Secure the battery with the support and proceed to connect the terminals, starting with the positive and then the negative. Check that the connections are tight, reattach any coverings, and close the bonnet. Finally, start the vehicle to ensure the electrical system is functioning correctly.
