Replacing the Diesel Filter on a Ford Fiesta 1.5 tdCi

Replacing the diesel filter is one of the most effective and beneficial maintenance tasks for your vehicle. You only need a minimum of experience and skill to carry out this job. Park the car where it won’t obstruct anyone and engage the handbrake. Open the bonnet and disconnect the connectors on the filter. Remove its cover after loosening the clamp on the air inlet. Remove the diesel filter cover and its electrical clips. Then, remove the second cover and the fuel pipes, taking care to avoid spills. When refitting the new part, replace the rubber seal on the cover. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
