Removing the Diesel Filter on a Ford Transit

Is the diesel filter of a Ford Transit due for a change? Here’s how to remove it. Lift the vehicle on a column lift, locate the diesel filter as shown in the video. Unscrew the retaining screws at the top of the retaining plate above the container (disconnect the wires and various hoses from the filter) where the diesel filter is located. Unscrew the filter container. Once the filter is removed, take it out of the vehicle (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter to the attached diesel filter container (connect the hoses and wires) and tighten the appropriate bolts. Fit the retaining plate above the filter.
