In this simple video tutorial, you will learn how to open the bonnet of a Ford Focus. This specific model of Ford Focus has a key-operated bonnet release, so there is no need to open it from inside with the lever.

To open it, rotate the oval logo on the front of your car, as shown in the video: at this point, insert your key and turn it to unlock the bonnet. Then, simply lift the bonnet without needing to unlock the internal latch! To close it, there is no need to insert the key again; just close it like a traditional bonnet!
