Replacement of Cabin Air Filter

Model: Ford Mondeo / Fusion MK 3 - Years 2007-2014

The cabin air filter is located just behind the centre tunnel, and to access it for replacement, you need to remove the glove compartment from the passenger side. Open the door and unscrew the screws securing the glove compartment, then pull it out of its housing by disconnecting the courtesy light connectors. At this point, disengage the bayonet clips of the fuse box cover to lower it and facilitate the filter replacement operations. Remove the cap from the cabin air filter housing, extract the old filter, and insert the new one, ensuring the airflow direction is correct. Proceed in reverse for reassembly.
