Replacing the Cabin Air Filter

Model: Ford Mondeo / Fusion MK 1 - Years 1993-2000
Part: Cabin air filter

The cabin air filter is located externally to the cabin and is positioned on the driver's side, just below the windscreen. To replace it, you need to open the front bonnet, remove the plastic grille covering the air duct housing, and access the filter housing. Then, unscrew the fixing screws of the cap, extract the old filter, ensure there are no dirt residues inside the container, and insert the new one (activated carbon version is recommended), orienting it according to the direction of the airflow.
