Instructions for Replacing the Battery

Model: Ford Focus MK 3 - Years 2011-2018
Part: Battery

The battery is located in the engine bay, on the rear right side (when facing the engine) under a plastic cover made of two pieces (one front and one rear, which is a bit more complicated to remove): once the two pieces of the cover are removed, proceed to detach the battery securing bracket. At this point, disconnect the battery terminals and remove the battery from its housing. Insert the new battery into the designated space (ensuring it is compatible with the one just removed (size, terminal position, Amperage)), connect and secure the terminal clamps, the securing bracket, and reapply the two pieces of the cover.
