This video will show you how to remove and replace the rear boot release system on a Ford Focus. After opening the boot, unscrew the screws that hold the panel attached to the rear lid, and with the help of a flat, thin tool, remove the panel.

Next, disconnect the old release system and remove it to fit a new one. After this simple operation, you can reconnect everything and reattach the panel to the back of the boot lid. Now, you will no longer have problems with opening your boot!
