Removing the Lock from a Ford Transit Door

Today, you will learn how to remove the door lock from a Ford Transit. Note: the tutorial begins with the door panel already removed. To do this, remove all the cover caps and screws that secure it, which are located inside the door. For more information on the door panel, refer to other tutorials. Using a flat screwdriver, detach and remove the metal retaining clip of the lock, as shown in the video. Insert the same screwdriver into the now exposed hole and lever the lock cylinder out. Use the ignition key from the outside to assist.
