Ford Focus 1.6 Diesel thermostat removal

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011
Part: Thermostat

In this video tutorial we will see how to replace the thermostatic valve of a Ford Focus second series, following these instructions. First we go to open the bonnet and we go to disconnect the two battery terminals; then we lift the car and remove the plastic protective bulkhead that we find under the engine, unscrewing the screws. At this point, let all the coolant drain out, and then put the plastic protection back on; now we remove the intake sleeve, disconnecting the mass air sensor, and detach the air filter box. We just have to disconnect the coolant pipes and unscrew the fixing screws of the thermostat, as in the video!

How to Change the Engine Oil on a Toyota Prius

How do you change the engine oil on a Toyota Prius? It’s a simple operation if you follow the right steps. Lift the car on a column lift or jack, after removing the cover panel, use a socket wrench to unscrew the bolt from the oil sump, allowing the fluid to drain into a disposal container. Refit the bolt of the oil sump and the oil filter. Lower the car and lift the bonnet, securing it. Finally, top up with the new oil. Measure the oil level multiple times with the metal dipstick until you reach the ideal measurement.
