Removing the Alternator from a Ford Focus MK2 Diesel

In this video, you will see how to remove the alternator from a second-generation Ford Focus. First, open the bonnet of your car and disconnect the battery; then lift the vehicle and remove the front right wheel. Now remove the plastic cover under the engine by unscrewing the screws, and also remove the right wheel arch liner; loosen the tensioner to remove the serpentine belt, and from the engine bay, remove the intake hose as shown in the video. Finally, unscrew the mounting screws of the alternator and disconnect the electrical connector to remove it!
