Replacing Alternator on Ford Focus

Replacing the alternator on a Ford Focus? First, disconnect the battery terminals. Locate the power battery and disconnect the terminals. Remove the engine cover panel. Use a socket spanner to undo all the securing bolts of the alternator. Once the removal is complete, take it out of the engine bay (disconnect the alternator belt). Take the new replacement part and insert it into its designated space, tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Connect the terminals to the alternator and then to the car battery. Start the engine and test its operation.
