How to Remove the Alternator from a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi

Here are the instructions to remove and replace the alternator on a Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the plastic engine cover. Then disconnect the various wiring found above the alternator to gain access, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew the alternator mounting bolts and disconnect the electrical wiring to remove it from the engine bay. Replace and install the new original alternator, reassembling and replacing the belt with a new one.
