Replacing Brake Pads on Ford Kuga

Model: Ford Kuga C520, MK 2 - Years 2012-2019

Loosen the wheel bolts of the affected wheel, raise the car with a jack (or use a ramp if available) and remove the wheel. Insert an Allen key into the two rear pins of the brake caliper and, if they are stiff, tap them to loosen. Once done, use a flat screwdriver to detach the metal clip at the front. With the same screwdriver, create space between the hydraulic piston and the brake pad by levering. Unscrew the two related bolts and remove the caliper from the bracket. Push the piston back further and extract the old pad, then insert the new one.
