How to Replace the Rear Brake Disc and Pads on the Ford Kuga Mk2

This guide shows how to replace the rear brake discs and pads on the Ford Kuga Mk2. First, secure and lift the vehicle after removing the wheel bolts. Once the wheel is off, detach the retaining spring of the caliper bolts and unscrew these elements. After extracting the caliper, unscrew the caliper bracket bolts and remove the disc. Clean the hub and brake mechanism. Install the new disc and refit the caliper bracket. Push the caliper pistons fully back and install the new pads lubricated with the appropriate grease. Refit the caliper and the retaining clips. Check the proper functioning of the braking system.
